This has 0.042" diameter hole

These were the size jets fitted as standard to Stromberg 97 carburettors when sold new on Ford Flathead V8 and V12 .

These jets also suit the 48; 81; 40 and 84 Stromberg carburettors

Thread diameter is 3/8" with 24 TPI.
