Vacuum Pump Repair Kit   P/N 382VPK

This kit is brand new, includes the latest Fabric reinforced Nitrile Diaphragm, compatible with all modern fuels & lubricants, including ethanol based petrols & synthetic oils.  

Kit includes all valves, seal, pivot pin, bush, retainer circlips and spring for rocker-arm & assembly instructions

This kit is for the vacuum side of the pump, for fuel side kit see our 375FPK

This is NOT a new old stock kit

As used in:

Holden 48-215 [FX]; FJ 1948-56       all with original dual pump. Type BW, nos. 5591529; 5592164 & type WG, no. 1524775

Holden FE; 1957 up to engine no. L327358   [approx mid 57] with pump Type WG, no. 1524775.         NOTE: for late 1957 Holden pumps see our 763VPK for vacuum side repair kit

HOLDEN NOTE  This kit suits AC type BW pump with nos.5591529 and 5592164; Type WG pump with no. 1524775 used by GMH 1948 to mid 1957
These early pumps are known as single-acting vacuum pumps, having just 2 valves.

Check your pump number carefully because GMH used a different dual pump after mid '57, which looks the same but takes a different Vacuum kit (763VPK)
These later pumps are known as double-acting vacuum pumps and have 4 valves

Also remember that over the last sixty years the original pump may well have been changed for the later type, which has a stronger vacuum pump:
