NOTE: Has to be cut to the size you require.
SOLD & PRICED PER SQUARE INCH. See notes following.
This Diaphragm Sheet is premium grade 70 Duro Nitrile with special woven Nylon fabric reinforcing to withstand constant flexing in temperatures from – 42º C to +100º C.
Specifically for the manufacture of diaphragms in carburettors and fuel pumps, this particular Nitrile material is resistant to fuels and lubricants including all grades of petrol,
Avgas, blended ethanol petrol fuels, distilate, LPG, kerosene, lubricating oils and greases, many solvents associated with fuel. Methanol resistance is rated as 3 – medium.
Suitable for fuel and vacuum diaphragms and can be used as reinforced fuel and oil resistant jointing in appropriate applications
NDS0.8 is 0.8mm or 0.032" thick, can be supplied up to 12" x 12" square.
SOLD PER SQUARE INCH – EXAMPLES HERE:
1” x 1” =1 sq.in.= $2.90
6” x 1” = 6 sq. in = $17.40
2” x 2” = 4 sq. in. = $11.60
3” x 3” = 9 sq. in. = $26.10
4” x 4” = 16 sq. in.= $46.40

It is NOT RECOMMENDED to use ethanol containing petrols in classic and earlier vehicles, however if this fuel is used this Nitrile sheet provides the maximum resistance to the damage ethanol can cause.
Ethanol resistant, however even the highest ethanol resistant Nitrile will fail when ethanol is at a high enough concentration.
Nitrile compatability with ethanol blended fuels.
Corrosion and compatibility issues
Certain materials commonly used with petrol may be incompatible with high-level ethanol blends, causing them to degrade and contaminate the fuel.
Metals that have been shown to degrade over time in the presence of high-level alcohol blends. These include brass, lead, zinc and lead-based solder.
Nonmetallic materials that degrade when in contact with ethanol include natural rubber, polyurethane, cork gasket material, leather, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) polyamides,
and certain thermoplastic or thermoset polymers.
On the other hand, unplated steel, nickel-plated steel, stainless steel, black iron and bronze have shown resistance to ethanol corrosion, with nonmetallic materials like reinforced fiberglass,
Buna-N, Neoprene rubber, Polypropylene, Nitrile, Viton and Teflon meeting acceptable usage standards with ethanol blends up to E85.
