• apply a couple drops of oil to the cup before installing
• do not soak pump
• run a blunt object around the inside of the leather cup to break the protective sealer it may have
• polish the pump bore with very fine Crocus Cloth before installing accelearator pump
• do not allow your pump cup to dry out
